The Field Day Sports Summer Camp staff is made up of experienced teachers and coaches who are dedicated to making sure all of our campers have a safe and fun experience. Read on to find out more.
SAMANTHA LEVINE
OWNER / CAMP DIRECTOR / HEAD COACH
Coach Levine is a passionate and enthusiastic educator with over 10 years of experience in K-12 Physical Education and Health. She is a proud recipient of the Governor's Educator of the Year award and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Known for her creativity and innovation, Coach Levine excels at turning traditional activities into exciting new experiences with her clever twists.
Currently teaching at Schuyler-Colfax Middle School, Coach Levine leads a variety of school-wide activities and extracurricular programs, including P.E. Club, the Turkey Trot, Field Days, and more. Her leadership and organizational skills shine through her work, creating dynamic and engaging experiences for students.
In addition to her teaching role, Coach Levine has experience with soccer skills training for athletes aged 5-17. She has also coached alongside soccer legend Alex Morgan at her Pro Camp and brings years of experience coaching multiple sports at the Freshman, JV, and Varsity levels for Wayne and Pequannock High Schools.
Her creativity and passion for sports allow her to design one-of-a-kind experiences, ensuring that every camper has a blast, while developing skills in a fun, safe, and dynamic environment!
KRISTEN LIGUORI
COACH
Coach Liguori is a K–6 Certified Elementary and 6–8 Certified Mathematics Teacher with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching at Schuyler-Colfax Middle School for the past four years and brings over 10 years of teaching experience to the team
. In addition to teaching, Coach Liguori tutors students throughout Wayne and has experience coaching youth sports. Her competitive spirit, positive energy, and passion for working with kids make her a perfect fit for FDS, where she loves encouraging campers, building confidence, and making every day exciting and fun.
SAM DEPKEN
COACH
Coach Sam is excited to join the team this summer! She brings over a decade of coaching experience and loves working with kids of all ages. She has worked with a variety of soccer clubs, training companies, and teams throughout North Jersey, including Ridgewood, Ramsey, Hawthorne, Sparta, and surrounding communities.
Coach Sam is passionate about creating a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where every camper can build confidence, stay active, and make new friends!
Our coaches are CPR / AED / First-Aid Certified and hold NFHS "First Aid, Health, & Safety", "Heat and Illness Prevention", and "Concussion in Sports" Certificates
